About the Founder

Born on 17 June 1985 in Tamale, in the Northern Region of Ghana, he is a distinguished entrepreneur, contractor, and traditional leader whose journey is built on hard work, perseverance, dedication, and a deep commitment to his craft. From his early years, he developed a strong entrepreneurial spirit and has spent decades building businesses that reflect his passion, discipline, and determination to create lasting value.

His entrepreneurial journey began in the late 1990s, when he ventured into the smock business. Through years of experience, attention to quality, and dedication to preserving the beauty and cultural significance of traditional Ghanaian attire, he established Alhaji Criss Quality Smocks Enterprise. What began as a business venture grew into a respected enterprise, with his work contributing to the promotion and appreciation of the traditional smock both as a cultural garment and as a symbol of Ghanaian identity.

Beyond the smock industry, he has also established himself as an experienced contractor and construction entrepreneur. His construction activities cover a broad range of projects, including building construction, road works, and other civil and general construction services. With a practical understanding of the construction industry and a strong commitment to delivering quality work, he approaches every project with professionalism, careful attention to detail, and a determination to meet the expectations of clients and partners.

His journey has not been defined solely by business success. His dedication, consistency, and contribution to the smock industry have earned him recognition within his community and beyond. In acknowledgement of his longstanding commitment and achievements in the smock trade, he was honoured with the traditional chieftaincy title Yen Bobri Naa I, meaning “The Chief of Smocks.” The title represents an important recognition of his years of service, dedication, and contribution to the preservation and promotion of the smock tradition.

As a family man, he is also a father of seven children and has two wives. His family remains an important part of his life and reflects another dimension of his journey—leadership, responsibility, and commitment.

Today, his story represents the journey of a Ghanaian entrepreneur who has successfully combined culture, commerce, construction, and traditional leadership. From starting a smock business in the late 1990s to becoming an established contractor and receiving the traditional title of Yen Bobri Naa I, his life demonstrates what can be achieved through years of persistence, hard work, and dedication.

His vision continues to be centered on building sustainable businesses, delivering quality services, creating opportunities, and leaving a meaningful legacy for future generations.
